Successful registration process

Verify DTMF Mode (RFC 2833) and SIP Transport Settings (TCP or UDP)

  • Go to "Settings" > "Accounts" > Your SIP Account > Click Advanced >Scroll down to "Compatibility modes and Network Related"

  • Ensure "DTMF Mode" is set to RFC 2833 and that "SIP Transport" is set to TCP (you can also use UDP but it may require extra configuration on your firewall/router)

Use TCP as Transport settings and RFC 2833 for DTMF type
  • Enable STUN and rport for NAT

STUN helps phone to learn its public IP address, this is needed for a phone to properly communicate over SIP

  • Make sure OPUS/48000 , G722 , G.711 mu-law (PCMU) and G.711 a-law (PCMA) are on Selected codecs the list. If they are not, then find them on Available codecs list and move them to the right column by pressing '->' (appears when you move the mouse over a selected codec). If you have multiple codecs on a list sort it so that the best-quality codecs are at the top and the lower-quality codecs are at the bottom
